Coming out of the shadows in the second half, just about every marketing/advisory firm I meet tells me that Odoo is “the best kept secret in the business software market in the UK”. Well, that’s it – we are coming out of the clouds in the second half of 2025.
Don’t get me wrong – the first half was great - on target for 100% growth, with 6 new clients, 3 new members of staff and a new office near Glasgow.
During the first half, we kicked our conventional marketing into touch and went for the trusted advisors that companies use to make sure they select the best solution for their business. I am not saying Odoo is the best, but when people see it, they usually start singing “Nothing Compares to You” by Prince, for some reason!
Anyway – further on the Prince theme, the Odoo colours include Purple Rain, and we moved into new offices in Prince’s Square in East Kilbride – thanks to the EK Collective.
Back to the trusted advisors – we exhibited at the Festival of Accountants and Bookkeepers at the NECC in Birmingham, and worked closely with some awesome accountants, virtual FD providers and related solution companies at Accountex in Excel in London – spreading the Odoo word.
We are looking forward to continued success in the second half, now that Odoo is coming out of the shadows. It is increasingly recognised as an irresistible Business Management Solution (BMS) to those talented finance professionals who look beyond Sage, QuickBooks and Xero to be a true advisory hero. (We can’t say heroine in case it attracts the wrong audience – but most of the heroes we met were ladies!).
